Which Type of Shower Screens Should You Choose?

So, you’ve decide you want a shower screen, but now you need to choose a style. At Frog Glass we have a range of stylish shower screens which are manufactured to suit all bathroom types and budgets. If you are struggling to decide on a shower screen, then check out the different varieties available below.

Fully framed

More budget friendly than semi-frameless designs, our fully framed shower screens are a functional modern feature to any bathroom. Available in four beautiful colours, you can customise your frame to match existing fixtures and decor. If done well frames can really accent your shower and make it a feature.

Semi-frameless

Our semi-frameless shower screens are designed to suit the most modern of bathrooms. Slightly more expensive than fully framed designs, these stylish shower screens have a perimeter of frame around the shower screen which allows the vertical panels to be glass only.

Fully frameless

For something more chic and innovative, why not try a fully frameless shower screen. These shower frames are top of the line. While more costly than semi-frameless designs, the lack of frames will make your bathroom look a whole lot bigger.

Frosted glass

Perfect for shared bathrooms, frosted glass is a great way to give you some extra privacy. While dirt and grime aren’t as obvious on frosted glass, keep in mind that frosted glass is more difficult to clean than clear glass, as you need to get into the grooves and texture.

Clear glass

Clear glass shower screens are extremely popular in modern bathrooms. With higher light quality than frosted glass, clear glass shower screens are elegant and easy to maintain. Simply give them a wipe down after each shower to keep them looking their best.

If you’re based in Ipswich, Logan or the Sunshine Coast and looking for a new shower screen. Contact Frog Glass today. All our shower screens are installed to Australian Standards and come with a 5-year guarantee on the frame and parts. Made to order in our factory, we only use A grade 6mm toughened glass.
